Using a digital paint program of your choice create original works of art. Choose a style and theme for your art. For example your images may be impressionist landscape paintings, or pointillist portrait paintings. Create a digital portfolio of your work to be presented to the class. Create a survey that will allow for creative criticism of your work.

Would you like to have your own gallery someday? Create a name for your gallery and a logo that represents the gallery. Design a gallery space and find a location for your gallery. Determine the costs of renting/owning the gallery space and the costs of fixtures you might place in your gallery. Or, create an online gallery by making a website of your work. If you want to display your art in someone else’s gallery name the gallery you would like to display your art in. What is their selection process and how much commission do they collect on the sale of the art? What value would you like to get for your art? What is the current market value of most digital art? What was the highest amount paid for a piece of digital art? All art must be appropriate for this grade level. Create a timeline of your progress through this problem.
